Rakesh has over twenty five years experience in providing accounting, audit, tax and other professional services in Guyana. His client portfolio included entities in banking, insurance, retail and distribution, oil and gas, mining, tourism and other services.

Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom
Chartered Professional Accountants of Nova Scotia, Canada

Rakesh served on the Technical Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Guyana for twenty years and on the IFRS for SMEs Implementation Group of the International Accounting Standards Board. He currently serves on the Technical Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Caribbean and actively contributes to the Tax Research Platform of the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD).

Rakesh holds a Practicing Certificate issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Guyana and is duly authorised to practice as a Chartered Accountant in Guyana.
